Learn about Nature and the Jungle at Iguazu

This excursion allows travelers to visit historic and ecological sites in the fascinating area that surrounds the Iguazu Falls. Some of these sites show the region’s cultural traditions and some are geared towards understanding the wildlife and rainforest environment that is found in Iguazu. One of the amazing destinations you’ll see is the so-called “Landmark of the Three Frontiers.” This is the meeting place of two rivers (the Parana and Iguazu rivers), as well as the meeting place of three countries  and three cultures (Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay). We’ll explore this landmark, as well as the artisanal zone located there where you’ll see and learn about regional products. During this excursion you’ll also visit “Aripuca” which is an agricultural and ecological destination located 15 km from the waterfalls. Aripuca exposes and preserves plant specimens recovered from the jungle, in order to create awareness and initiate actions that will preserve and promote these environmental gems. Among the ecological treasures there, you’ll find a collection of over 30 different kind of wood from the province of Misiones.  You’ll also see the Guira Oga Bird House as part of this excursion, which houses and preserves endangered bird species.
